Hi, I'm Susan. Thanks for stopping by my blog! :) I was amazed at how many ideas are out there when I really started looking at blogs. It opened my eyes to a whole new world! I jumped in without very much experience with any particular craft, but I've enjoyed trying out lots of different things. Sewing is usually my go-to craft, but I'm up for pretty much anything (
wood burning,
crocheting,
cooking, underwater basketweaving...ok not really that last one). I love taking bits and pieces and turning them into something useful, I think that's what appeals to me about sewing. You start with some fabric and end up with a purse or an outfit!
I started this blog
because I was bored and Hubs was away as a way to keep family up to date on what was going on and to try to pass the time when I was jobless and Hubs-less. Hubs is in the Air Force, and I'm thankful I have a job now where I can work from home so I can take my work with me wherever the Air Force decides we should go (by our 3rd anniversary we will have lived in four different states). Hubs is my best friend, so wherever he goes I'm right behind him! When we're not working you can find us working out, playing ping pong, or hanging out at home...and I think we can add doing outdoorsy stuff to our list because we really enjoyed that type of thing while we were in California! God has blessed us richly and we're so thankful to be together right now.
So that's me (and Hubs) in a nutshell. The blog is still a work in progress, but I hope you'll find some things to inspire you here.
